北京市第十八中学始建于1933 年，是一所12年一贯制的完全中学，是市级示范性普通高中，现为由23个校区组成的教育集团。同时，学校也是方庄教育集群46所学校的龙头校，在促进地区教育优质均衡发展方面进行了富有成效的实践与探索。

Beijing No. 18 Middle School, founded in 1933, is a 12-year comprehensive school system offering education from primary to high school. Recognized as a municipal model ordinary high school, it now operates as an education group comprising 23 campuses. Additionally, the school serves as the leading institution within the Fangzhuang educational cluster of 46 schools. It has conducted fruitful practices and explorations in promoting the high-quality, balanced development of regional education.

高中校区目前有231名全职教师以及12名兼职教师。博士、硕士研究生比例超过 65%，其中高级及以上职称94人。目前在读学生10至12年级分别有300多名在校学生，应届高考本科上线率100%，2024年丰台区高考最高分出自该校区。学生要求每周在校就读5天。‌

The campus currently employs ‌231 full-time faculty members‌ and ‌12 adjunct instructors‌, with over ‌65% holding master’s or doctoral degrees‌. Among them, ‌94 educators‌ hold senior-level or higher professional certifications. The student body comprises ‌300+ learners‌ in each of grades 10–12. The ‌2024 graduating class‌ achieved a ‌100% university admission rate‌, with one student earning the district’s ‌highest Gaokao score‌.‌ Students are required to attend classes on campus five days each week.

北京十八中教育集团现有 11 所成员校，23 个校区，涵盖小学、初中、高中三个教育阶段。集团教职工总数 1300 余人，学生人数超过 1.3万。学校牵头成立的方庄教育集群包括46所教育单位，拥有师生3万余名。

The education group currently operates 11 member schools across 23 campuses, delivering comprehensive K-12 education. With a workforce exceeding 1,300 faculty and staff members, it serves over 13,000 students. The Fangzhuang Education Cluster initiated by the group integrates 46 educational institutions, collectively educating more than 30,000 students and staff members.

学校聚焦学生核心素养，以培养“健康的体、温暖的心、智慧的脑、勇敢的行”的青少年为目标，从学生的发展需求出发，依托集群、集团，将国家课程、地方课程和校本课程全面整合，构建了独具特色的12年一贯制“聚•宽教育”课程体系，将社会责任、国家认同、科学精神、审美情趣、实践创新等核心素养融入了课程的目标、内容、实施和评价中，推动了学生基础性学力、发展性学力、创造性学力的发展，最大程度地满足了学生的多样化发展需求。形成了“三化三育”的办学特色，即集团集群化、数字化、国际化，科技育人、体育育人、艺术育人。

2024年11月12日，北京市教育委员会京教函[2024] 563号文件批复，同意北京市第十八中学与美国加州艾尔卡米诺特许高中合作举办中美高中课程项目，按照美国大学理事会标准设置AP课程体系，包括AP微观经济学、宏观经济学、微积分、物理等。学校也在积极申请成为AP考试中心，以便为学生提供更全面、更权威的AP教育体系。

On ‌November 12, 2024‌, the ‌Beijing Municipal Education Commission‌ formally approved (Official Document Jing Jiao Han [2024] No. 563) the collaboration between ‌Beijing No.18 High School‌ and ‌El Camino Real Charter High School (California, USA)‌ to establish a ‌Sino-American Advanced Placement (AP) Program‌.The program aligns with ‌College Board standards‌, offering an AP curriculum that includes:AP Microeconomics、AP Macroeconomics、AP Calculus and AP Physics and so on. ‌The school is actively pursuing designation as an ‌AP Exam Center‌ to provide students with a ‌more comprehensive and authoritative AP framework‌, ensuring seamless access to standardized testing and academic validation.
